Now that 2017 is over, I want to see your best photos from the year!

Until January 15th, we'll be accepting photo submissions to our first ever contest in this thread. Post up to two aviation-related images you took in 2017 to enter them. Watermarks are fine, as is retouching.

Once this thread is locked on the 15th, we'll narrow the options down (if necessary) and post a new thread with a poll where all users can vote for their favorites.

The grand prize, aside from eternal bragging rights and a featured post on our social media channels, is a copy of the book TOPGUN DAYS, an autobiography from Tomcat RIO Dave "Bio" Baranek.
If we get enough submissions, I may be able to offer a second-place prize too - we'll see how it goes!

I'd suggest using the "Attachments" tab just below where the text box when writing a new post. You can also embed images from Flickr or somewhere else, but we'll have to be able to save them in order to move them to the new thread so make sure permissions are good for that.

gives me the option to my house my own photos but when I click on the file all the pictures are unavailable to post. How do I fix that? Sorry new to this
