Big news today as the organisers confirm Poland's newly-acquired FA-50s will appear at Radom, both flying and static. They'll probably have been in service for only a few weeks at the time!

Latest official confirmation for the flying display:
Dannebrog F-16AM (Danish Air Force)

The organisers have also confirmed the participation of the UAE, Italy and Germany - exact aircraft TBC.

Latest Radom press release gives some interesting updates:
  • USAF KC-135 previously announced for the static display will now hopefully perform a flypast
  • Press release appears to suggest that the Lithuanian and Slovak C-27s, previously assumed to be static display participants, will perform in the flying display - a rare catch if that's right but a first-language Pole tells me it's more likely poor sentence structure on the part of the author!
  • Saturday's night show will primarily feature Polish Air Force assets and aircraft of the Polish Aero Club
  • The Republic of Korea has been quietly dropped from the list of participating countries. The Netherlands has been added.
  • The UAE is still on the list of participating countries, despite rumours of Al Fursan's European tour being axed in favour of a trip to Asia - so potentially we're still on for seeing Al Fursan at Radom this summer
  • And the news we've all been waiting for: the announcement says Poland's MiG-29 and Su-22 will be present "in the air". It doesn't specify that this will be in the form of full flying displays, but even a flypast would be a welcome last chance to see the MiGs for many of us.

Seperately, the Polish Defence Minister confirmed today that only a small portion of their MiG-29 fleet is being donated to Ukraine for the time being. Malbork Air Base also recently announced an open day in September which is advertised as including MiG-29 flying activity. So it's looking good for us getting one final hurrah from the MiGs.

My post was to say "we can probably disregard the sentence that illogically announces these aircraft for the flying display, but the meaning of which would be completely reversed if the author had put the comma in a different place", not "let's add to the flying line up two aircraft which continue to be listed as static only elsewhere on the airshow's website, don't have display pilots, and which haven't ever performed at an overseas airshow before".
