Nice to see Placid Lassie, they have been talking about coming down to this event for the past several years and this is the first time that they are on the roster.

This will be my fifth year in a row booking a hotel for this, and I have yet to actually be able to attend. Hopefully this will finally be the year! Good start to the warbird lineup.

Couple additions this weekend, including the CAF National Capital Squadron TBM Avenger and the CAF Jayhawk Wing UC-78 Bobcat. Hoping for another fighter or two - maybe something from American Airpower Museum, the Duffy collection or Military Aviation Museum?

About a month out. Aircraft list was updated over the weekend, but it looks like the only change is the official removal of "Yankee Lady." Still hoping for another fighter or two, maybe from AAM, MAM or the Duffy collection, but it might be kind of late for that.

Definitely a good chance Duffy brings one of his fighters, his FG-1D or P-51D, or that one or more of the Stars of History, FG-1D, P-51D, or A6M2, show up. Less likely for AAM or MAM since they are either directly or indirectly supporting Geneseo. I have gone every year since 2007 and am especially excited to see 3 C-47s and 1 C-53 on the same ramp. Also going to be a treat to see the UC-78.

Just a quick update on the roster. The C-46F Tinker Belle was removed from the lineup (which is not surprising, but still disappointing, hopefully they will be back next year). The D3A Val replica (BT-13) that has been a staple of the event for the last twenty years was donated to MAAM and arrived at the museum yesterday, so count on that being in attendance. Additionally, although post-WWII, MAAM's P2V-7S is always on static display and open for tours at the event, so count on that being on display as well. Finally, the CAF Airbase Georgia's resident B5N2 Kate replica should be in attendance as well.

Is the P-61 Black Widow a static display only? I haven't heard anything recently about the status of its restoration to flying condition.
