Tentatively scheduled to perform at this year's show is Yuichi Takagi [REDFOX Airshows] and his Pitts S-2S.

The Planes of Fame Air Museum is slated to be in attendance with their B-25 Mitchell, P-38 Lightning, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang, SBD Dauntless & TBM Avenger.

I am planning on driving out from Las Vegas to attend the show at Apple Valley. What can be expected as photography sight lines go? Seeing that it is only one day, is there a side better than the other? Good spot for taxi in shots and such? Anything will help. Looking forward to the show (and doing some rockhounding after) and to any responses to this post.
