The event is FREE. However, parking is $20.00 and it is cash only. The event is held at A.Y. McDonald Park in Dubuque, Iowa, over Lock and Dam Number 11 that is located over the Mississippi River. The air show portion starts around 5:15ish and ends around 7:30. Then the fireworks begin.

The Dubuque Regional Airport Open House and Aircraft Viewing event will be taking place at the Dubuque Regional Airport on Sunday, July 2 from 3PM-5PM! Get a sneak peek of the aircraft that will be flown in the Independence Day airshow demonstration.

Chip Lamb of the Trojan Phlyers is back. He flies a North American T-28B Trojan. He will be doing his solo routine.

Did anybody catch the name of the Bettendorf, Iowa native who is apart of the A-10 Demonstration II? I believe he was on the announcer's stand during the air show.

I just found out his name. His name is Major Travis "TRAILER" Jackson.
