USAF C-17 Demo removed from the performers page. Replaced with a demo by a Georgia State Patrol helicopter.

It was due to the C-17 Globemaster III needing to be used for real world.

It was a hot and humid weekend in Augusta, but still had a good time. This was the first airshow in Augusta in 20 years if I understood right, and the website is already advertising a show in 2024. Some of my favorites are uploaded here in a couple posts. The layout was a little different in having the show line perpendicular to the active runway, leaving a grass field and trees in front of the crowd. This ultimately eliminated any takeoff or landing shots. That said, getting good photos was challenging. Part of the time you were shooting into the sun, where later on it was directly overhead. I saw some acts I'd never seen before like the Red Bull team and Buck Roetman, plus the SAR demo by Georgia State Patrol was cool too. Overall, a pretty decent weekend.
