Judging by the following article, it appears that the Reading Aerofest will make its first return since 1998 sometime in October of 2023!

Don't take this as gospel but I had heard from a friend that this might be taking place on Saturday October 21, 2023.

Now it doesn't seem like this will be the case this year as it's no longer showing on David Schultz Airshows' schedule page.

Latest update on the event, renamed the Reading Aviation Festival and Career Fair. Static displays include a C-17A and C-130 (likely an MC-130J). Additional static displays will include a PC-12 from Quest Diagnostics, a PA State Police Bell 407, and some other civilian aircraft. Other military static requests that have yet to be confirmed include UH-60s and CH-47s from the US Army and A-10s from the USAF Maryland ANG.

Unfortunately the forecast looks unfavorable this Saturday. However, other static additions include a US Navy T-6B, US Army UH-60L, and a Bell 206/8.

The weather held off on Saturday and it was a great first aviation festival at RDG. The USAF PA ANG 193rd SOW brought an EC-130J, MAAM had their SNJ-4 on display, and several locally based aircraft including a Falcon 900, B200 Super King Air, PC-12/45, a PA-28, and several Cessna 172s were on display as well.
