be interesting to see if this is an isolated case or industry wide insurance issues now. Really scarry since the host is a military base,

I believe it is across all facets of the insurance industry. We're moving shortly and everything's been going great EXCEPT trying to get homeowner's insurance on the new house (and automobile insurance). Even getting quotes is a pain in the ass; seems like many insurance companies just don't want to write new policies.

CAF Red Tail P-51C added. So maybe some civilian participation after all!

(for now...)

Is there normally this lack of information for this show? It's really not that far away now and there's not much to go on.

It's shocking how little information is available. I have been planning on this show since last year and just last night I pretty much decided to cancel the trip and try again in 2 years. We are less than a month out and the website shows the Blue Angels performing and NOTHING else. With the comment about insurance problems the whole thing feels up in the air.

Another thing that's weird is that they had the usual information of where to park and what's not allowed a couple of months ago but now that information isn't on there at all.

Cancelled my plans too. Was looking forward to starting my season dahn 'n th' bayou a second year in a row, but the costs are way too high just for some F-5s and a bunch of jets I've seen before and will see at numerous other shows this year. Hopefully this "insurance" issue is just a one-off thing and can be rectified for 2026.

Unless it gets outright canceled im still going. They could just be withholding information due to their security reasons. If it's called off though then I guess I'll try to make it to Maxwell AFB as it has a simular line up. I'm staying hopeful though!!

VFA-125 are currently detached there and are supposed to be doing a flight demo at the show, per an FB post 2 days ago.
