Just wondering if anyone has or found any presets that work as a good starting point for editing their photos

I've never even tried to use any presets. The light changes too much during the day, and even moment-to-moment if there is any cloud cover at all. It's even different if you're looking toward the left vs towards the right most of the time. I did try one time to get a good basic edit on an image for exposure, white balance, color balance, and brightness and contrast, then use Bridge to copy those setting to other images shot on the same day, and it was a disaster, nowhere near even a good starting point for most of them! I simply deleted the .XMP files that Bridge created and edited the images singly like I always do.

Yeah I don't use any presets, but I do very similar stuff to each photo. I almost always brighten the shadows, lower the highlights, increase clarity, increase dehaze, and bump the vibrance up a bit. How much of each depends greatly on the conditions though.
