Looks like we are going to see the full Tora Tora Tora demo this year, contrary to last year with only the bomb squad.

Unfortunately we probably won't see the C-46 "Tinker Belle" anymore, since the city just sold her to the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. The city's website says Tinker Belle is expected to fly out later this month.

Well, from all the airshows that I went to where Tinker Belle was in attendance I think I saw her fly twice and only one of those times was at Monroe. They just didn't have the funds/crew to keep her flying.

Actually, I think you will have a better chance of seeing Tinker Belle fly there now, as the Military Aviation Museum has been a big supporter of the show for years and usually brings at least a couple of planes down for the show. In the past they have even brought some of their larger aircraft including the JU-52, Mosquito and PBY.

I can happily confirm that we will be doing our full Tora Tora Tora act at the Monroe show again!

Hmm, looks a lot like last year’s lineup.

If this is the final set in stone performer list it looks like they made a lot of cutbacks.
