Today is Tom Skerritt's 90th birthday. He's best known for films such as 1979's Alien and 1992's A River Runs Through It. He's mostly well known for his role as Cmdr. Mike "Viper" Metcalf in the 1986 film Top Gun. Happy birthday Viper.
