Made it just in time. It was cold and a little windy, so recording it was tough.
Rob Holland was first, and at first I thought that was criminal, but I guess they wanted to save the pyro stuff until it got dark. Fantastic as always. There was a long pause while they waited for it to get dark, then AeroShell flew. 2 and 3 did not have the lights behind the propeller on (update: according to FlightAware, the 4 aircraft used were N791MH (Mark Henley, #1), N601JF (Jimmy Fordham, #4), N7462C, & N77055. I imagine the last two are spares and do not have the same lighting configuration). All of the aircraft still had the AeroShell logos on them. Immediately after they finished, Nathan started flying his night time display in almost total darkness. This was surprisingly my first time seeing his act in person. It did not disappoint.
This air show started in 2020 sort of out of nowhere, and I am happy it has picked up momentum and attracted more performers. I am excited to see how far it goes. My camera doesn't do well in low light, so the screen caps I got are whatever.
