Air show performer Matt Chapman was inducted into the prestigious ICAS Foundation Air Hall of Fame during an award presentation at the 2023 ICAS Convention in Las Vegas.
Chapman was recognized for an air show career that spanned four decades as one of the top aerobatic aerial entertainers in the world. He also served as a member of the Aerobatic Competency Evaluation Committee for several years, including a two-year stint as committee chairman. But his enduring legacy to the aviation community will be the work he did throughout his air show career to encourage young people to pursue a career in aviation.
