What we really need is a new Final Countdown involving Super Hornets and a historical event other than Pearl Harbor.

Eh, the best part of the original was getting to see the sheer variety of types that were on carrier decks in '79. Heck, they even squeezed a Crusader in there! Rhinos/Growlers and F-35s are cool, and the eight-blade Hawkeyes are sweet, but...just not the same.

Now, if the time storm happened when the USN and French Navy were doing joint ops, and we got some Rafale Ms in there to spice things up...

Maybe we could have a P-8 fly through the fog overhead and time-travel to find some U-Boats lol.
