Chicago Air and Water show 2018

Yeah, the F-35 put on a cool display and the 7th T-bird practicing was a first for me. Glad the weather cleared and looking forward to tomorrow.....especially if there's an A-10.

Is there a water portion to the show that starts first or it's combined?

I believe the water part starts at 9 or 10 and the air show starts around 11.

The air show starts at 10:00am. I think the water portion might start earlier. I'm not sure what the water show consists of. During the practice day, they had a fire boat that used the hoses to spray water.

Was out on a small boat today..lake was very rough..almost impossible to shoot any kind of telephoto..came away with a couple of decent images considering the bad lighting and big waves bouncing the boat ;)

The only Water portion is the Coast Guard and the Chicago FD/PD dive demos. And maybe the Chicago boats going down the show line during said demos.
