CH-149 Cormorant, CC-115 Buffalo and the UFV Boeing 727 have been added to the static display list.

Regarding the Cormorant, the airshow Facebook page added: It may even perform one of the SAR demos at the #abbyairshow.

My understanding is that it will also act as an emergency/safety response standby during the weekend. Friday might be the day to catch it flying if it does happen probably early in the show. Nothing official on that though, just a rumour at this point if anything at all.

The SAR demos are always tentative just in case they get called out . It has happened more than once that they have had to leave during the show. Not necessarily the demo but static as well.

VFA-122 has been doing a dual Super Hornet Legacy program at all their shows thus far.


Hopefully this holds true for Abbotsford.
