The local WWII airshow will be happening (I was wrong) Nov 10-11, and will feature some pretty interesting performances this time. The Me 262 will be (maybe) the highlight for me. Also, Old Crow will join the P-51 group. This will be my last time in Charlotte for a while, so I think I'll be there. Admission is $15.00.

I have my doubts the 262 will show up. I've been to several shows where it was suppose to attend and it only showed up once and broke down after the first day then. The last time, it was scheduled for Thunder Over MI last August and didn't show because of a issue with the brake system. Until that gets fixed it's not flying.

Don’t want to ruin anyone’s plans but I have it on good authority it (me262)won’t be there.

Also of note, tora tora tora isnt there but their awesome pyro team will be!

List updated, anybody know which displays will be static? I know the C-54 and probably the B-17 will be.

I’m going to back track a little bit. The me-262 from the group I was told was coming is still down. But the more I’ve thought about this, it may very well be the collings jet coming. The flyer has the two seater version on it and it showed up to the Little Rock airshow today. Going to hold out hope lol. The website shows the MAM jet though.

If it's the MAM jet, I doubt it will be there. Last I heard it's getting an entire new brake system engineered. It was pretty apparent that it wasn't going to make TOM, but I guess there's a possibility that it could be done by now. Could always be the Collings bird I guess.

Monroe is a good show. I attended both years I lived in NC. From what I experienced and what I've seen posted about the show since then, most of the aircraft in attendance should fly. They do good work there.

The Movie Memphis Belle will be offering rides during the show, same for the C-47.

Sounds like MMB isn’t coming now either. Mechanical issues. They say they are looking for another b-17
