Well I made the trip North up to Duluth for the first time, and glad I did. I failed miserable at any spotting on Friday, got to the airport about 5 minutes too late to catch all the Vipers out on their missions, looked to be about 8-10 of them up, but landed right as I got there. The airshow itself was really good. Several of the static that were listed were not there, but the majority were. Anyways, loved seeing the local Viper fly at the show, but they should try and do more...like Toledo did the weekend prior, but not complaining, the two that did fly did a great job. Couldn't have been any easier getting in and out of the show (although, I did leave before the Blues flew to get back on the road home) Here's a few shots from last Saturday. Hopefully I can make it back up there, it was a welcome relief from the heat of Kansas City, and Duluth is a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Superior. Thanks. David

great shots David
Duluth does put on a great show, i was there on Sunday, the day started off with beautiful clear blue skies but by the time the show started the clouds rolled in, same happened to me, i got to the airport friday just after the local F16's landed. I got into town on Thursday morning, straight to the airport and caught a couple of the F16's leaving, right after the 2 F35A came in, the KC-135 followed by the C-17, lighting was much better Thursday, but wow, you found Duluth cooler? i still found it too hot lol...i was going to head down to Oshkosh right after Duluth but i was tired of dealing with the heat
